Antonio Miller spent the most time at quarterback for the Speed, throwing for 1,034 yards, 18 scoores and eight picks. Star wide receiver for the team, Cooter Arnold, caught 16 touchdowns and racked up 795 yards. Tan Cunningham led the team on the ground with 14 scores and 209 yards. The Speed also defeated Richmond by two points, which at the time, was a loss that knocked Richmond out of the playoff race.
