The Texas Titans won their first SIFL game, 46-27, at home to Houma. However, this would be the high point of the season. The team had four different quarterbacks, who combined to throw three more interceptions than touchdowns. The team scored only 22 offensive touchdowns in ten games. During the middle of the season, the team was forced to relocate due to arena issues and ownership troubles. The Titans became the Hurricanes and would play at College Station. The team was forced to play their final three games in seven days.
