The New Jersey Revolution has spent a few years in the CIFL before the 2010 decision to move to the AIFA. It was a rude awakening. The team was outscored by an average of 65-32. Bill Winters led the team at quarterback, throwing for 32 scores and 13 picks. The defense intercepted just 7 passes from opponents. New Jersey quarterbacks were sacked 50 times. Elliott White returned three kickoffs for touchdowns. The team played a thrilling game against Reading, a 71-69 Express victory. The team played one game in Trenton, as a showcase for a city that would have an AIFA team in 2011. In this game, the Revolution gave up a team worst 96 points.
