The Corpus Christi Fury joined the UIFL in 2013 after spending several years in the LSFL and IFL. The Fury played seven regular season games, winning six of them against Missouri, Georgia, and Lakeland. A 64-58 overtime victory at home over Lakeland marked a high note in the season. Robert Kent, af2 veteran, quarterbacked the team. The team lost their final regular season game to Florida, 75-66, allowing Florida to host United Bowl III. The two teams met again and Florida took a 40-32 championship win. Statistics for the 2013 season were incomplete.
