The Kissimmee Kreatures won just two games in their first NIFL season. The team’s victories came against New Jersey and Miami. The team lost their last eight in a row, six of the games on the road. The Kreatures did not have a high-powered offense for the most part, usually being held to under 45 points per game. Following the season, the team folded and was replaced by the Osceola Football. The Osceola Football/Roughriders replaced the Kissimmee Kreatures from 2005. In contrast, the Football organization was run very well. The team's first four losses came up a combined nine points. These losses included two three point decisions against the Fayetteville Guard. After securing a playoff berth, another NIFL fiasco unfolded. Osceola was set to host Cincinnati in the first round. However, Silver Spurs Arena was already rented out, so it was Cincinnati's job to secure their venue. They didn't. Osceola got the Lakeland arena and told Cincinnati to come down on a Monday night. Cincinnati refused and was awarded a forfeit victory. Osceola then wrote two emails to the NIFL in which they voiced their displeasure with the league. Osceola then became one of the first NIFL franchises to join the World Indoor Football League.
