The Evansville Blue Cats finished their first season without a victory. Their average margin of loss was 17 points, but that doesn’t mean the Cats were not competitive. They came within eight points of beating Lexington and Myrtle Beach, and within just one point of Fort Wayne. In 2004, the Blue Cats were marginally better. This was not a large margin, however. The team won a mere four games against The most notable was an 88-84 shootout with the Show Me Believers. The Blue Cats franchise left the NIFL and joined the rival UIF in 2005.
