The Atlantic City Card Sharks didn’t show much promise with a 1-4 start and all four losses coming on the road. However, the team was able to turn things around and win their final six in a row. The biggest highlight for the Card Sharks was their revenge against the Ohio Valley Greyhounds. After losing 52-8, the Card Sharks got their revenge by way of a 33-31 victory. In the playoffs, the Card Sharks ran into the Lexington Horsemen, the eventual 2004 Champions. The Sharks got beat 54-25. The team folded after the 2004 season.
