The Omaha Beef joined the NAL in 2024 after making the previous three and winning two CIF championship games. The success continued in their new league, as Omaha went 8-0 and would go on to beat Sioux City for another ring. In that ttle game, Omaha built a 28-8 lead before the Bandits staged a comeback to force overtime. The game continued into double overtime where an extra point make by Omaha sealed the deal for a 47-46 victory. In their previous meeting, Omaha had won 34-32.Tommy Armstrong quarterbacked the Beef, throwing for 936 yards, 19 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He ran for 20 more scores. Troy Evans Jr. led all receivers, catching 17 passes for 288 yards and eight scores. The Omaha defense was just as strong, sacking opposing QBs 16 times and picking off 16 passes.
