The Colorado Spartans joined the NAL in 2024 and went 4-5 in the regular season, missing the championship game. Three of the victories came against fellow expansion team Idaho and the other came against Carolina. The Spartans also took Sioux City to the brink, falling 62-61. Jason Whittaker quarterbacked the team, passing for 1,684 yards and 33 touchdowns, along with 20 picks. Steven Newbold Jr. led all receivers, catching 36 passes for 500 yards and 15 scores. He was followed closely by Deonte Rarrieck, who amassed 480 yards and eight scores on 38 catches. The Colorado defense sacked opposing QBs 14 times and came up with 14 interceptions.
