The LaCrosse River Rats were very comparable to actual river rats. The team was outscored by an average of 51-31 and has the worst offensive output in the league, averaging a mere 31 points per game. The team's lone wins came at home to Minnesota (38-35) and at Duluth. (50-47) When the IFL was sold, LaCrosse folded. A team resurfaced in 2002 and 2003 in the NIFL, but the team did just as bad on the field.
