The Casper Cavalry were an up and down team for much of the year, staying around the .500 mark. However, after being thrashed by Bismarck, 86-27, the Cavalry rode a four game winning streak into the playoffs. The streak included a league record 93-19 blowout against the Fargo Freeze. After beating Black Hills in the final week of the season, the Machine dismantled Casper, 68-34, in the first round of the playoffs. After the IFL was sold, the franchise moved to the NIFL, where it remains today.
