The San Angelo Bandits moved to the CIF when the CPIFL and LSFL combined. The team went 1-10 in the new season, with one game at Salina canceled when the Bombers folded. The lone victory came against playoff bound Texas, 42-38. The following week, Texas avenged the loss with an 81-38 drubbing of the Bandits. Combined, players that started at quarterback threw for 22 touchdowns and 22 picks. Twenty players spent time at wide receiver. Darrell Harkless was the only one to play all eleven games, catching eight touchdowns. The team returned in 2016 with a similar season, going just 2-10. Chris Mitchell spent the most time at quarterback in 2016, passing for 2,046 yards, 47 touchdowns and 14 picks. However, it wasn't enough, as the defense allowed 57 points per game and converted nearly 60% of fourth downs. Antonio Bray and Stephen Alfred both caught 16 touchdowns each and combined for 1,580 yards. The two victories came at home in back-to-back games against Amarillo and Mesquite.
