The Steubenville Stampede did not win a league game in 2006. Their wins came against the Ohio Valley Football League's COlumbus Blackhawks, 56-20, and a forfeit by the defunct Syracuse Soldiers. The Stampede played in an unusually low scoring game against Johnstown. Johnstown prevailed, 21-14. Steubenville was a financially troubled team during the season, as several players walked out and pay was dropped to $75 per game. Following the 2006 season, the Stampede moved to the GLIFL.
