The Columbus Wardogs are statistically the worst multi-year team in AF2 franchise history. The Wardogs are tied with the Mobile Wizards for the worst season ever, as they went 0-16 in 2001. This set the tone for the future of the franchise, as the following seasons were 4-12, 4-12, and 6-10 respectively. The team also holds the record for longest road losing streak, at 17, and the worst away record by teams that have played more than one season, winning only two road games in four seasons. With the lack of success and attendance, the team folded following the 2004 season.
